Project BLACC will help you find successful careers in mechanical technology by learning how to design and produce materials using industry standard equipment. You will apprentice with a local business and learn on the job. You’ll learn safety procedures and industry standards and protocols for producing mechanical parts, as well as their general use in the workplace. You’ll explore the science and craft needed to fully understand how each piece of machinery and equipment operates. This field is thriving, and this training will help you find work in a growing, rewarding industry.
Project BLACC Mechanical certification specializes in installing HVAC equipment, maintaining existing mechanical systems, and specializing in Geothermal installations. This will include being able to diagnose the systems in the residential and commercial settings. We will directly place you with an apprentice program and get paid as soon as you sign up for the program.
Our curriculum starts with learning the following areas:
The training program involves attending the training classes and learning hands on how to properly size HVAC units and understanding how they work. This includes being able to install the units but also properly size it based on the area the equipment will serve. Our focus will include geothermal techniques to learn of sustainable ways different ways mechanical systems can be used in conjunction with other types of energy connections.
